Who are the Mormons?

The word "Mormon" is a nickname to give to those belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  The word was taken from a book of scripture we use called "The Book of Mormon" which is another testament of Jesus Christ much like the Bible.  Mormons are no different the the average person.  Our beliefs may be different but we are not that different when it comes to the actual person.  We believe in God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.  We believe in strong families and that they can live together past death.  We believe in marriage beyond the grave, not till thirty years or less.  We believe there is a living prophet on the earth today and that he speaks for God like Prophets of Old (ex. Abraham, Moses, Isaiah etc.) Below are some of the members of our church and what they are.
